Pulp Strategy is looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Senior Account Manager with 4–6 years of experience in digital marketing and client servicing. This role is critical in ensuring seamless execution, strong client relationships, and consistent quality of delivery across brands.
The Senior Account Manager will act as the day-to-day brand custodian, translating client objectives into actionable plans, managing internal teams, and ensuring timely, high-quality output. While the Account Director (report to) will focus on long-term growth and business impact, the SAM will ensure operational excellence and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :-
- Client & Brand Ownership
- Act as the day-to-day custodian of assigned brands, ensuring brand tonality, objectives, and guidelines are followed consistently
- Build strong working relationships with client stakeholders through regular interactions
- Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business, category, competitors, and goals
- Anticipate client needs and proactively suggest solutions
- Strategy & Planning Support
- Support the Account Director in creating digital and social strategies, content calendars, and campaign plans
- Convert high-level strategies into clear execution roadmaps
- Assist in campaign ideation, pitch decks, and strategic documentation
- Ensure strategies are executed as planned and optimized based on performance
- Execution & Delivery Excellence
- Translate client briefs into clear internal briefs for creative, content, and performance teams
- Manage timelines, dependencies, and approvals across all stakeholders
- Ensure 100% on-time, high-quality delivery across all projects
- Conduct quality checks before anything reaches the client
- Handle revisions, feedback loops, and version control efficiently
- Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track campaign performance and social media metrics regularly
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports with clear insights, not just data
- Highlight wins, learnings, and optimization opportunities
- Work with the Account Director to recommend course corrections
- Revenue & Account Growth Support
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services
- Support the Account Director in scope discussions and renewals
- Ensure projects are delivered within defined scope and commercials
- Track billing milestones and support payment follow-ups
- Internal Team Management
- Manage and mentor Account Managers and Associate Account Managers
- Ensure clarity of roles, responsibilities, and daily priorities
- Provide regular feedback, guidance, and performance support
- Act as the bridge between strategy and execution teams
- Process & Collaboration
- Coordinate with creative, content, media, and tech teams
- Ensure all stakeholders are aligned on goals, timelines, and expectations
- Maintain documentation, trackers, and project management tools
- Improve internal workflows for efficiency and clarity
- Industry Awareness
- Stay updated with the latest digital, social, and content trends
- Share relevant insights with internal teams and clients
- Suggest innovative formats, platforms, and ideas
Required Skills & Experience :-
- 4–6 years of experience in a digital agency, specifically in client servicing or account management
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, content ecosystems, and digital campaigns
- Hands-on experience in managing multiple brands and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Comfortable with presentations, reporting, and client-facing communication
- Ability to multitask without compromising on quality
Preferred Qualifications :-
- MBA in Marketing or equivalent
- Experience working on both B2B and B2C brands
- Exposure to performance marketing is a plus
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and project management tools
