Role Overview
This is a hands-on UI engineering role with a strong focus on frontend execution and experience delivery. You will build high-performance user interfaces in React and Next.js and lead theming for CMS platforms like WordPress and Drupal. This is a design-to-development role where you’ll translate UX designs into responsive and high-performing digital experiences.
The goal: deliver pixel-perfect, reusable, scalable UI with seamless backend and platform integration.
Key Responsibilities
Frontend Development
- Convert Figma/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect UI.
- Build reusable UI components in React, Next.js.
- Ensure strong performance, accessibility, and SEO compliance.
CMS Theming & Execution
- Own custom theming for WordPress (Gutenberg/Elementor).
- Build and maintain custom themes in Drupal (Twig templates, CSS/JS).
- Create UI experiences with dynamic content and configurations.
Integration & Experience Delivery
- Integrate interactive widgets, search interfaces, forms, and custom UI flows.
- Connect UI components with REST APIs, retrieval services, or data layers.
- Ensure seamless communication between front-end components and back-end systems.
Quality & Collaboration
- Maintain Git hygiene: branching, pull requests, versioning, documentation.
- Work closely with backend, product, and design teams for cohesive delivery.
- Support deployment processes and align with performance and QA standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 1.5–3.5 years of experience in frontend engineering using React/Next.js and CMS theming.
- Strong understanding of modern UI patterns, performance optimization, and accessibility.
- Hands-on experience with WordPress and Drupal custom themes.
- Version control and collaboration using Git.
- Strong ownership and ability to deliver high-quality UI on schedule.
