We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented WordPress Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have basic experience in WordPress backend development, plugin customization, database handling, and performance optimization. Key Responsibilities:-
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites and backend functionality
- Customize themes and plugins as per project requirements
- Write clean, secure, and optimized PHP code
- Integrate APIs, third-party tools, and payment gateways
- Troubleshoot bugs and fix backend issues
- Optimize website performance and loading speed
- Work with frontend developers and designers for integration
- Ensure website security and data protection
Required Skills:-
- Basic knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Familiarity with WordPress architecture and hooks
- Understanding of REST APIs and database queries
- Knowledge of Git/version control (preferred)
- Basic debugging and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:-
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field
- Internship or project experience in WordPress development
- Knowledge of WooCommerce (plus point)
- Understanding of website security practices
